we are newly charged
and uninhibited
we examine time and others
with a kaleidoscope
that shatters what we think we know
into a billion brilliant fragments

in my dreams
i watch us as
we become susceptible- given
to the whims and reflections that our waking selves
will not allow

these dreams are the inspiration behind this work
these moments
in a different place
where i get to tell you everything
